Duration: 12 months Contract
Support completion design, planning, programming and operations management across our clients Assets. Ensure that all equipment required is appropriately specified and ordered in due time for operations. Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met with regards to local statutory requirements. Demonstrate a strong commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work in teams with other disciplines
- Compile programmes and detailed procedures for installing the well equipment
- Prepare/review the Detailed Operations Procedures before start of operations
- Participate in Hazard Identification Risk Assessments
- Partake in Service Company performance reviews and manage Non-Conformance Reports where required
- Perform appropriate Management of Change, as per Companies procedures
- Create/maintain Decision Records during operations
- Conduct Post Operations Meeting with the rig after end of operations (with service companies, Drilling Supervisor and drilling contractor)
- Update the 'as run Detailed Operations Procedures'
- Support completion operations to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of fit for purpose wells
- Participate in subsurface meetings and discussions as/if applicable
- Perform QC of all acquired data and update all relevant databases
- Update Best Practices (as run Procedures/experience database)
- Challenge the rest of the group to ensure that the work is done cost-effectively and that future well operations can be run in a simple and cost-effective way
- Work with and follow company best practices, requirements, and guidelines
- Liaise with company specialist network on day to day work
- Offshore visits to supervise activities as required
- Participating in Well Design and Operational Peer Reviews
- Providing Completion Programme input to the Completions and Interventions Engineer
- Prepare Well Handover Documentation in a timely manner
- Prepare and deliver the final End of Well Report with respect to Completions
- Cooperate with Production Engineering to provide operational support when required
- Cooperate and assist the Well Integrity Team with any Completion related issues
Experience
Minimum 10 years of completion experience in Senior role within an oil & gas operator. Technical experience of reservoir completion solutions and upper completion technology (safety valve, packers, chemical injection, downhole gauges), wireline (basic log interpretation CBL/VDL USIT and correlation techniques), slickline (basic wireline fundamentals, plug setting operations fishing tools and intervention), coiled tubing (basic fundamentals including downhole coiled tubing tools), drilling and completion fluids, wellbore clean up tool fundamentals and practices. Familiar with Well Barrier qualification and verification.

- Level 4 IWCF Well Control Certification
