The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Researcher to join our content team and play a pivotal role in shaping who appears on screen — ensuring our users hear from real voices with real experiences.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is curious, resourceful, and passionate about storytelling.
What You’ll Do
Source Contributors
- Identify and connect with potential on-screen guests from experts and clinicians to lived-experience voices. Leading on introduction calls and discovery calls to build research decks that feed into the talent producers.
Fact Check
- Carry out due diligence checks to ensure all contributors are credible, trustworthy, and aligned with JAAQ’s values before being approached.
Bring Stories to Life
- Research unique angles, backgrounds, and potential collaborations that will create meaningful, memorable conversations and pitch these to the team.
Spot Opportunities
- Stay alert to emerging voices, cultural moments, and themes that will resonate with audiences.
Collaborate with Creatives
- Work closely with production and editorial teams to shape content that is empathetic, authentic, and impactful.
Contributor Journey Management
- Maintain detailed records of contributor engagement and ensure that every outreach meets the highest compliance and production standards.
- Manage scheduling and communications so contributors have a seamless first experience with JAAQ.
What We’re Looking For
- 1+ years’ experience in talent research, casting, or contributor sourcing, ideally within media, production, or content creation.
- Strong research and fact-checking skills, particularly around mental health and wellbeing.
- A natural connector who approaches people with sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism.
- A genuine passion for stories and an instinct for spotting the detail that makes them shine.
