We’re working with a major infrastructure contractor that’s growing its commercial team to support a significant pipeline of AMP8 water projects across the Thames Valley. You’ll be working across water treatment projects ranging from £2.5m–£25m, covering a mixture of civil, mechanical, electrical and infrastructure works.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing the commercial performance of live projects
  • Monthly CVRs, forecasting, cash flow & cost control
  • Subcontract procurement from enquiry through to final account
  • Applications for payment & contract administration
  • Managing variations, change control & commercial risk
  • Working closely with operational and project teams
  • Supporting final accounts & dispute avoidance
  • Supporting and mentoring junior commercial team members

What we’re after:

  • Quantity Surveying experience within construction/infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of contracts, measurement & valuation
  • Confident managing subcontractors and commercial negotiations
  • Experience producing CVRs and financial forecasts
  • Comfortable working across live construction projects
  • Water / wastewater / treatment experience would be a massive advantage
  • RICS or similar professional membership desirable, but not essential

This is a site-facing role, typically around 3–4 days per week across projects in the Thames Valley/Reading area.
