Salary: Up to £70,000 + Car/Allowance + 25 Days Holiday

J3A Recruitment are working with a rapidly growing MEICA engineering organisation that has secured a strong pipeline of work across Thames Water sites. They’re now looking to bring in an experienced Project Manager with a mechanical background to help drive ongoing projects forward in the Reading and South East area.

What you'll be doing as Project Manager:

  • Managing multiple water-related projects at any one time (values ranging from £5k–£300k)
  • Overseeing works across clean and dirty water sites, including pumping stations and general mechanical installations and refurbishments
  • Taking ownership of quotations, fabrication drawings, RAMS, and project delivery
  • Carrying out site surveys, liaising with clients, and leading project teams to successful completion

The suitable Project Manager will bring:

  • HNC / HND (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in the water industry – ideally with Thames Water
  • Confident managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes
  • Capable of writing method statements and risk assessments
  • Electrical knowledge is beneficial, but not essential
  • SMSTS isn't essential but highly beneficial
