We’re recruiting a Project Manager to deliver AMP8 projects for Thames Water across the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire and Thames Valley. With £250m of secured work and schemes from £2.5m to £25m, you’ll lead delivery on treatment works covering civil, mechanical, electrical and ICA scopes.

As a Project Manager, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget and to the required standards. You’ll manage client relationships, lead teams, and maintain compliance across all stages of delivery.

This Project Manager role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge, commercial focus and the ability to solve complex issues in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams with a strong focus on safety and operational performance
  • Plan and manage project delivery from start to finish
  • Control cost, time and quality
  • Support technical reviews and problem-solving
  • Ensure compliance with UK regulations and company processes
  • Build strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Oversee budgets, risks and KPI performance
  • Promote innovation, sustainability and digital tools such as A-Site and IMS

Requirements

  • Experience as a Project Manager for a main contractor
  • HNC or equivalent
  • CIOB or similar professional qualification (desirable)
  • SMSTS and CSCS card
  • Strong leadership, communication and commercial skills
  • Understanding of MMC, Lean Construction and modern delivery methods
