We are currently seeking experienced and dependable Production Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing facility in Tankersley. This is a key role within the production team, supporting the manufacture of high-quality construction materials while ensuring production targets, quality standards, and all health and safety procedures are consistently met. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous manufacturing experience who thrive in a fast-paced production environment. The successful applicants will be confident operating machinery safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality, and adhering to all health and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility.
The Role
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety standards, policies, and procedures within the manufacturing facility.
- Assisting with machine setup and changeovers.
- Operating production lines, electric pressers and working toward achieving daily KPI’s.
- Conducting quality inspections and reporting defects or inconsistencies.
- Reporting machinery faults, breakdowns, or production concerns.
- Working collaboratively with other departments.
Candidate Requirements
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment and who can demonstrate strong awareness of workplace safety and operational procedures. Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience of working within a Manufacturing facility.
- The motivation & drive to work towards the productions KPI’s.
- Multi skilled in warehouse and production operations.
- Computer literate (training will be given on the systems used).
- A counterbalance FLT licence is desirable (refresher courses are available for lapsed licences).
- Desire & drive to progress within the company.
Hours & Benefits
- Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 15:00, Friday 06:00 – 12:00.
- Standard 40-hour working week, weekend overtime is available and will be paid at x1.5 per hour on Saturday and x2 per hour on a Sunday.
- Immediate starts available.
