We are working with a fast-growing engineering business operating at the sharp end of the renewable energy sector. With new contracts secured across landfill and anaerobic digestion sites, they are expanding their engineering team. This is a hands-on role for a Commercial Gas Engineer looking to break into (or build on) experience within biogas and renewable gas systems. If you have solid gas qualifications and want something more technical than standard boiler work, this is where you level up.

The Role:

  • Working across multiple client sites, supporting the maintenance, repair, and installation of biogas plant equipment.
  • Day-to-day includes:
  • Servicing and maintaining boiler plant, compressors, gas boosters, flare stacks, digesters, and heat exchangers.
  • Fault finding and repairing biogas systems and associated plant.
  • Supporting new installations and upgrades.
  • Carrying out gas and nitrogen purging.
  • Completing service reports and technical documentation.
  • Participating in a call-out rota for breakdowns and emergencies.
  • Working safely in line with RAMS and HSEQ standards.

This is a field-based role with autonomy; expect a mix of team collaboration and independent work.
