We're working with a well-established and growing engineering business within the pump and water solutions sector, looking to bring in a skilled Electrical Technician to strengthen their Gloucester depot team. This is a hands-on, technically engaging role offering a mix of workshop and on-site projects, ideal for someone who wants variety, stability, and long-term career progression within a specialist industry.
You'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting pumping systems and associated electrical equipment, ensuring everything is operating safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing, servicing, and testing electrical control panels
- Installing and connecting pumps and control panels both in the depot and on customer sites
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs
- Conducting electrical testing and system calibration
- Commissioning electrical systems to meet client requirements
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
- Maintaining accurate service and installation records
- Liaising with clients on-site to ensure smooth delivery of work
- Working in line with all health & safety standards
