A well-established, market-leading engineering business is looking to recruit an Electrical Site Engineer to join its growing field team. This is a hands-on, site-based role working across Thetford and the surrounding area, supporting the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of pumping equipment. If you enjoy being out on site, solving problems and working as part of a close-knit team, this role delivers exactly that.

The Role

  • Installation, commissioning and servicing of pumping equipment
  • Carrying out electrical work alongside a Mechanical Site Engineer
  • Supporting breakdowns and aftersales service when required
  • Completing site reports and obtaining customer sign-off
  • Ensuring all tools and materials are prepared ahead of site visits
  • Working to strict health & safety standards
  • Representing the business professionally on client sites
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal teams

Requirements

Essential:

  • Electrical qualification (17th or 18th Edition – BS7671)
  • C&G Level 3 in Inspection & Testing
  • Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude

Desirable:

  • Experience in a field service or maintenance role
  • Experience working with pumps or similar equipment
  • Confined space training
  • First Aid certification
  • CSCS card
