The Opportunity

J3A Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established infrastructure and engineering contractor delivering major projects across the UK water sector. Due to continued success and a growing AMP8 workload, our client is looking to appoint a Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of projects across the Thames Water framework throughout the Thames Valley region. This is an excellent opportunity for a Commissioning Engineer to join a business with a strong reputation for delivering complex MEICA and infrastructure projects within the water industry.

Working closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, Site Teams, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring assets are safely commissioned, tested, handed over and fully operational for the end client. Whether your background is Electrical, ICA, Mechanical or Process-led commissioning, this role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of water and wastewater projects throughout AMP8.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the successful commissioning and handover of water and wastewater projects across the Thames Water region.
  • Review design documentation, technical specifications and drawings to identify potential commissioning risks and challenges.
  • Develop commissioning plans, programmes and strategies.
