J3A Recruitment is supporting an established civil engineering and utilities contractor with the appointment of three Project Managers across Greater Manchester.
These positions will take responsibility for delivering civil engineering projects within the water sector, managing schemes safely, efficiently and in line with programme, commercial and quality requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover
- Leading site teams, subcontractors and operational resources
- Maintaining strong health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Managing programmes, costs, contract administration and site records
- Working closely with clients, designers, commercial teams and delivery partners
- Supporting NEC contract compliance, variations and progress reporting
- Driving projects towards a safe, high-quality and zero-defect completion
We’re looking for experienced civil engineering professionals who can lead from the front and maintain strong relationships with both clients and site teams.
You’ll ideally have:
- At least five years’ site management or supervisory experience
- Civil engineering or water-sector project experience
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
- A construction-related HNC, HND or degree
- Knowledge of NEC contracts and CDM Regulations
- Strong leadership, planning and communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
Temporary Works Supervisor and SEATS qualifications would be advantageous but aren’t essential.
