The Ecommerce Merchandising & Analytics Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to‑day administration and operation of the company's ecommerce platform.

This role partners closely with internal business teams to configure website functionality, execute merchandising and promotional initiatives, perform quality assurance testing, monitor/analyze key KPIs, and ensure a reliable, high-quality customer experience.

Job Description

  • Assist with administering and maintaining the ecommerce platform, including configurable website features, merchandising tools, navigation, and site settings
  • Configure, schedule, and validate promotions, discounts, and other customer-facing campaigns
  • Maintain website content, including banners, landing pages, navigation, and other merchandising updates
  • Perform quality assurance testing for website changes, promotions, content updates, and new functionality before and after production releases
  • Monitor website functionality and identify, troubleshoot, and elevate issues affecting the customer experience
  • Support cross-functional teams including Marketing, Creative and Editorial Teams by accurately executing approved website changes
  • Assist with production launch activities and monitor promotional accuracy during key sales events and seasonal campaigns
  • Create and maintain documentation for recurring website processes, platform configuration, promotional setup, and operational procedures
  • Support execution of site updates, promotions, and content changes
  • Merchandise categories and collections with appropriate linking structures to support SEO and sales data.
  • Assist in optimizing on page content to improve discoverability and conversion
  • Monitor reviews for customer feedback, escalating any customer experience issues.
  • Monitor and setup funnels, user journeys and performance metrics
  • Analyze site performance data to support merchandising decisions
  • Conduct competitive research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Analyze key KPIs from Google and other analytics tools for opportunities and issues
  • Maintain GA4 tagging opportunities, requirements, and QA analytics tagging updates during release cycles

Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, website operations, digital merchandising, or digital analytics
  • Experience working with an ecommerce platform or content management system
  • Familiarity with configuring promotions, website content, navigation, or merchandising features within an ecommerce environment
  • Experience performing quality assurance testing for website changes and promotional launches
  • Experience in analytics platforms and analyzing data, in particular SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search console, Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, Bigquery
  • SEO background – keyword research
  • AEO/AI background – prompts and discoverability
  • Experienced with Excel (can perform complex functions)
  • Customer-minded and focused on using analytics to improve the digital shopping experience and business outcomes
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced ecommerce environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
