About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join us as Warehouse Manager at our brand-new Wynyard branch, opening Summer 2025.
You will lead on all aspects of warehouse operations ensuring the organised and controlled distribution of our products to customers. With significant experience in a similar role ideally within a builder’s merchant, you will ensure all stock is correctly and safely stored and suitably maintained. Leading the team in our busy warehouse and yard area, you will organise the transport for all deliveries, supervising loading and overseeing vehicle maintenance.
This is a great opportunity to further identify and implement process efficiencies, continuing to offer outstanding customer service. The role is busy and demanding so you will need to have excellent organisational skills, be adaptable and resilient, responding to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
With a full UK driving licence, you will ideally have a fork lift truck licence although full training can be provided.
Key skills & responsibilities include
- Attend to customers with an efficient and courteous service.
- Ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of resources to maximise on productivity.
- Organise and maintain the efficient use of transport to fulfil customer delivery requirements.
- Organise waste facilities as necessary.
- Arranging training as required.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 07.30am to 5.00pm plus alternate Saturdays 08.00am to 12.00pm.
