Reporting to the HR Manager, we are searching for an HR Officer to provide support to the business on all day-to-day HR activities as well as ad hoc project work in support of the implementation of the wider People Strategy. Based at our Head Office in Newburn, you will support managers across the business to deliver an exceptional experience for all colleagues at each stage of the employee life cycle.
Providing administrative and operational support, you will assist with all HR related matters in this varied role giving you the scope to impart your knowledge on any matters that arise. You will also be responsible for payroll processing and administration duties so previous exposure to payroll would be advantageous. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career by joining a thriving and ambitious company, in a true generalist role.
The main duties for this role include:
- Carrying out all HR administration process for starters, movers and leavers
- Support recruiting managers with the full end to end recruitment process
- Support with all absence management across the business
- Provide support to managers on probationary periods
- Help with all training and development initiatives across the business
- Provide basic training sessions to line managers on key HR topic areas to include absence, discipline
