My client is looking for a Building Surveyor to join its expanding Building Surveying team. You’ll be working on a wide range of commercial, residential and public sector projects, delivering high-quality surveying services that span the full built environment lifecycle.

  • Breadth of technical work and genuinely varied project exposure.

As a Building Surveyor, you will:

  • Manage projects from instruction through to completion, act as a key technical and client-facing lead and support the development of both junior team members and long-term client relationships, while maintaining high professional and quality standards.
  • Lead and deliver building surveying commissions including condition surveys, dilapidations, party wall matters and contract administration.
  • Provide expert technical advice on statutory compliance, building regulations and best practice.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors, building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Assist with business development, including identifying new opportunities and supporting financial and commercial performance.

About you, as the successful Building Surveyor:

  • Chartered (MRICS/CIOB) Building Surveyor with substantial post-qualification experience (typically 5+ years).
  • Strong technical building surveying skills and practical problem-solving ability.
  • Experience in varied building types and sectors is advantageous (housing, education, transport).
