My client is looking for a Building Surveyor to join its expanding Building Surveying team. You’ll be working on a wide range of commercial, residential and public sector projects, delivering high-quality surveying services that span the full built environment lifecycle.

About the role
As a Building Surveyor, you will:
- Manage projects from instruction through to completion, act as a key technical and client-facing lead and support the development of both junior team members and long-term client relationships, while maintaining high professional and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver building surveying commissions including condition surveys, dilapidations, party wall matters and contract administration.
- Provide expert technical advice on statutory compliance, building regulations and best practice.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants and contractors, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Assist with business development, including identifying new opportunities and supporting financial and commercial performance.
About you, as the successful Building Surveyor
- Chartered (MRICS/CIOB) Building Surveyor with substantial post-qualification experience (typically 5+ years).
- Strong technical building surveying skills and practical problem-solving ability.
- Confident communicator with client-facing experience.
- Experience in varied building types and sectors is advantageous (housing, education, transport).
