My client is looking to appoint a Director-level hire to lead the specialist offering for London and the Southeast, whilst supporting to expand their dilapidations offering across a national platform, reporting into the lead Director.
This is a high-impact role working with major investor and institutional clients, with the opportunity to shape strategy, drive growth and establish yourself as a market leader in this space.

As Director, you’ll take a lead role in both delivering high-quality dilapidations advice, managing a small team of up to 8 and continuing to do so as the offering grows. You’ll work closely with the Lead Director of Dilapidations to develop and execute a business plan, while maintaining a hands-on approach to delivery across complex instructions. The role combines technical excellence, leadership and commercial focus - ideal for someone who enjoys both client-facing work and building a team/service offering.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a service line business plan, including setting and tracking performance targets
- Drive business development activity, maintaining and growing key client relationships
- Support and mentor junior and senior team members, helping to build technical capability
- Promote best practice, consistency and innovation across service delivery
- Collaborate with other service lines to align business strategy and maximise opportunities
- MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor (essential)
- Proven expertise in dilapidations, with strong technical and commercial awareness
- Track record of business development and client relationship management
- Existing client network or ability to generate new work
- Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring and developing teams
- Commercially driven, with the ability to balance delivery and growth
