Heating Engineer Location: Southwark Salary: 50,000 Job Type: Permanent Start: ASAP Are you looking for your next Heating Engineer role? A successful contractor are seeking engineers to carry out general maintenance works within properties on one of their multiple social housing contracts. * Attend calls from residents to rectify their issues * Isolate property/equipment to carry out repairs and replacements of S/Y plans * Replace, repair and alter pipework where necessary * Isolate, drain down, remove and cap leaking radiators / radiators in need of replacement, as well as installation * Replace motorized valves and immersion heaters within properties * Install cylinders / thermal stores / water tanks * Fault finding and maintenance on HIUs * Diagnose heating and hot water issues within properties / blocks * Use a PDA system to take pictures and write reports on the works undertaken * Be a point of call for residents when they are without or lacking services * Cap and / or replace TRVs / Lockshields/ Wheelheads Package * Full time permanent position * Company PDA, vehicle & fuel card * Company uniform * 21 days holiday including bank holidays (1 day increase each year you work with the company) Essential Criteria * NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing * Full UK Driving License * Good written and verbal communication If you are interested in hearing more about this vacancy, ple…
