Senior Scientist – Cosmetics Safety & Global Compliance

Job Description

The Senior Scientist will provide expert-level support in cosmetic product safety and global regulatory compliance, including conducting safety assessments, interpreting regulations, and supporting clients through new product development (NPD) and existing product development (EPD) processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cosmetic product safety assessments in compliance with EU/UK regulations.
• Advise clients on ingredient safety, labeling, and claims substantiation.
• Prepare and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs).
• Support regulatory submissions and notifications.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance regulatory tools and databases.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in cosmetics safety or regulatory science.
• Strong knowledge of toxicology, cosmetic ingredients, and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with global compliance (EU, UK, US, Asia).
• Degree in toxicology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related field.
