Construction Buyer/ Plant Hire Coordinator

p We are an established Landscape Civil Engineering Contractor specialising in the construction of Sportsfields, Fencing, Landscaping Minor Civils works and are looking for an organised and proactive Procurement Plant Coordinator to support our projects. /p p The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and ordering materials, arranging plant hire, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring projects have the resources they need to run efficiently and on schedule. /p p Key Responsibilities /p ul li Ordering construction materials for multiple projects. /li li Obtaining quotations and negotiating supplier prices. /li li Arranging plant, machinery and equipment hire. /li li Managing deliveries to site and resolving supply issues. /li li Building relationships with suppliers and hire companies. /li li Tracking material costs and maintaining procurement records. /li li Monitoring stock levels and identifying upcoming requirements. /li li Supporting project managers with planning and logistics. /li li Ensuring best value is achieved whilst maintaining quality and reliability. /li /ul p Requirements /p ul li Experience in construction, procurement, buying or plant hire. /li li Good understanding of construction materials and equipment. /li li Strong organisational and communication skills. /li li Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. /li li Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. /li li Full UK driving licence preferred. /li /ul p Benefits: /p ul li Company pension /li li On-site parking /li /ul p Work Location: In person /p
