As the Plant Person at our Anwick based nursery, you will be responsible for maintaining the health, quality, and appearance of our large plant inventory.
Hours of work will be 08.00-16.30 Monday to Friday (subject to seasonal changes)
40 Hours per week
32 days paid leave including bank holidays

Key Responsibilities:
– Regularly inspect all plants for signs of pests, diseases, or other issues, and take immediate action to treat affected plants.
– Monitor environmental conditions in the nursery and make adjustments as needed to optimize plant health.
– Maintain detailed records of all pest and disease management activities, including treatments applied, results, and any corrective actions taken.
– Work closely with the managers to develop and refine quality control protocols, ensuring all plants meet or exceed customer expectations.
– Provide training and guidance to other nursery staff on proper plant care, identification of pests and diseases, and best practices for maintaining plant health.
– Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, research, and regulations related to nursery plant care and pest/disease management.
