As a Product Owner in Post Trade Technology, you will translate business goals into actionable plans and quarterly objectives. You will partner with engineering and operations teams to align dependencies, drive adoption of new capabilities, and deliver measurable results. Working in an Agile environment, you will facilitate execution, ensure incremental value, and keep stakeholders informed. Your role will be central to shaping integrated roadmaps and supporting the team’s success.
Job Responsibilities- Translate objectives into clear product plans and measurable outcomes
- Shape quarterly plans with engineering and partner teams
- Align cross-team dependencies and maintain integrated roadmaps
- Drive adoption of new technologies across teams
- Facilitate Agile execution with clear sprint goals and outcomes
- Support sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Analyse and document requirements in Jira with clear acceptance criteria
- Ensure traceability from objectives to delivered capabilities
- Own day-to-day delivery, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and reviews
- Promote structured sprint reviews with demo criteria and stakeholder feedback
- Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly; escalate blockers with recommendations
- Experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Tech Delivery role working with cross-functional engineering teams in Agile environments
- Detailed understanding of project management tools and methodologies (e.g., JIRA, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with key stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to articulate concepts to senior management and customers
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
- Experience working on large-scale transformation programs
- Experience in financial services or a related industry
- Hands-on experience implementing or supporting post-trade workflows in financial services
