As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Infrastructure Platforms Cloud Foundation Services, you are an essential member of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves creating business impact through your skills and contributions, utilizing technical expertise and problem‑solving methodologies to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications.
Job responsibilities:
- Develops secure and high‑quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
- Contribute to the product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
- Actively contributes to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Influence peers and project decision‑makers to consider the use and application of leading‑edge technologies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Formal training or certification on cloud software development concepts and proficient applied experience.
- Practical experience with Google Cloud, although hands‑on expertise with other public clouds such as AWS or Azure will also be considered.
- Hands‑on experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code to efficiently manage cloud resources.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proven experience in software development, with a strong focus on development practices such as Agile, Scrum, or DevOps.
- Advanced in one or more programming language(s) - Java, Python or Go.
- An understanding of cloud‑native architectures and microservices design.
- Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.

- AWS, Azure or Google certification.
- Comfortable working in an environment where pairing and Software Teaming are common practices to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
