The Global Security (GS) Team provides security protection, investigation, resiliency and crisis management services in support of J.P. Morgan Chase, its employees, customers, assets, and facilities throughout the world. This responsibility includes the development of security and safety policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative compliance, Security Guard management, alarm response, branch and corporate building security, customer safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence, fire and life safety, executive protection, due diligence, pre-employment screening, security operations globally and fraud investigations.

The firm has offices and operations in more than 60 countries across more than 5500 properties, totaling approximately 75 million square feet. The Global Real Estate (GRE) team consists of more than 400 employees, executing 13,000 capital projects per year globally totaling nearly $2 billion a year in design, construction and capital investment.

As a Program Manager in the Global Security Team, you will provide end-to-end programme governance and delivery oversight. The scope includes partnering with security, real estate, technology, and business stakeholders to define programme outcomes, manage dependencies, oversee execution, and ensure operational readiness and controlled delivery. With alignment to Global Real Estate (GRE), the Program Manager, Executive Director role is a London-based programme leadership position within Global Security / Global Real Estate, focused on the delivery of security strategy and implementation for the new London headquarters at Riverside, Canary Wharf.

Job responsibilities

  • Provide Executive Director-level programme leadership for the London HQ project, including governance, planning, execution oversight, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate with other GS and affiliated JPM Chase personnel (e.g. Physical Security, Corporate Technology) to achieve corporate security objectives.
  • Liaise between functional teams (CAO, Compliance, Legal, Operations, Tech, Finance and other control functions) and the internal program team to translate strategic security objectives into an executable delivery roadmap.
  • Work closely with business partners and other operational leaders and be able to influence business decisions to ensure the project timeline is withheld.
  • Work to onboard a design consultant and oversee the design development and implementation of the security systems.
  • Establish and manage appropriate governance, leadership and resources for all security related aspects of the project.
  • Ensure effective communication and escalation of overall program status, implementation plans, management issues, priorities and risks.
  • Develop, implement & monitor performance metrics to ensure security scope, schedule, cost, quality, and resources are aligned with the broader project goals and objectives.
  • Partner closely with global & location/region managers to provide thought leadership and ensure consistency with best practices when integrating security solutions within the new London HQ.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Extensive relevant project management experience, with experience in Security design and implementation.
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in Information Security (physical and logical).
  • Expert Project Management skills (Agile & Waterfall).
  • Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • Accredited undergraduate or higher degree in Security, or Project Management, or Business-related field.
  • Knowledge of security architectural design standards - CPTED (Crime Prevention through Environmental Design) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of physical security technology to include Physical Security Incident Management (PSIM), Physical Identity Access Management (PIAM), Physical Access Control Systems (PACS), Visitor Management Systems, Video Management Systems (VMS), Physical Intrusion Detection and Alarm Monitoring Systems, as well as associated devices and equipment.
  • Intelligent, articulate and persuasive leader who can serve as an effective member of the senior local management team.
  • Ability to communicate technical security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • High degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic / ambiguous environment.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2, CAPM) and/or Security certification (CPP, PSP, ASP).
  • Knowledge of Application Development and IT infrastructure.
