As a Market Risk E-Trading Risk & Limits Management Product Owner – Vice President in E-Trading Risk & Limits Management team, you are an integral part of the Risk Management and Compliance (RM&C) team, playing a central role in keeping the firm strong and resilient. You will help the firm grow its E-Trading business responsibly by anticipating new and emerging risks and using your expert judgment to solve real-world challenges that impact our company, customers, and communities. Job responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and communication of the value stream vision and roadmap, ensuring alignment with the bank’s overall objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Design and implement simple, modern, and innovative user journeys for E-Trading risk management actions by leading resources such as design, data, operations, and technology through creation and execution.
  • Ensure the team backlog aligns with the value stream backlog and stakeholder needs. Define and elaborate Epics, stories, and tasks to guide the team’s work.
  • Prioritize all work done by the team to maximize value delivery and ensure alignment with value stream objectives.
  • Seek to find a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, while managing the product delivery timeline.
  • Manage work in a highly organized, flexible manner, while ensuring the team and Sprint objectives align with the value stream objectives, facilitating effective planning and execution.
  • Drive solutions across the organization by working with various lines of business, design, legal, operations, finance, and Agile technology teams to prioritize and deliver the core E-Trading risk management platform modernization roadmap.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships across multiple product areas on the path to delivering E-Trading risk management solutions.
  • Utilize agile methodologies to manage product development, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and regular stand-up meetings.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork to achieve common goals.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative and/or financial field
  • Experience in a bank or a financial institution
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, associated risk, and modeling techniques
  • Good familiarity with Equities, Macro, or Spread Business
  • Ability to face senior business stakeholders and challenge effectively, using sound judgment to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative
  • Understanding of governance and controls for risk monitoring
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to form constructive professional relationships with a wide variety of teams in the firm
  • Familiarity with computer programming languages and coding techniques, such as Python & SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to lead independently, manage multiple projects, and follow up diligently on time-sensitive issues

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience and knowledge of market risk management and data analytics
  • Experience with large language models (LLMs) and their application in financial services, particularly in enhancing E-Trading risk management solutions
