Assume a vital position as a key member of a high-performing team that delivers infrastructure and performance excellence. As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Sector - Enterprise Technology - Egress, you will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline.

  • Client and Stakeholder management including client consultations, communication of expected completion dates and ongoing expectation management.
  • Contribute to process management and improvement within the team by updating and creating documentation and runbooks in line with engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with other IT & business teams to align proxy solutions with organizational goals.
  • Contribute to change management process improvement by building standardized change implementation templates.
  • Formal training or certification on infrastructure disciplines concepts and 8+ years applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience in installation, migration and decommission suite of Broadcom (erstwhile Bluecoat) devices including Proxy SG, Secure Web Gateway (ISG), Symantec Content Analysis Systems (CAS), SSL Visibility appliances and Symantec Management Center (SMC).
  • Good understanding of network infrastructure, network security concepts and application layer protocols and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Good understanding of REST API and container-based deployment models.
  • Scripting skills for automation of a Proxy environment and understanding and comfortable working on shell/python scripts and Ansible playbooks.
  • Expertise of networking fundamentals including Network topology, VLANs, Routing, Switching, Global/Local Load Balancing and Firewalls.
  • Flexible to work off hours and weekends in 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Ability to collaborate with different roles and different levels across different teams to achieve common goals and ensure end to end project delivery.
