As a Salesforce Engineer at JPM Personal Investing, you will help shape platforms for our Customer Service, Marketing, and Operations teams. You will develop standalone products on Salesforce, integrate with JPM Personal Investing services, and build the best customer experience for customers and colleagues. Our Salesforce team focuses on turning smart ideas into solutions for customers and we seek people with a curious mindset, collaborative spirit, and passion for technology.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop services such as referrals & promo systems, automation/alerts, and email services.
- Create custom Lightning and Visualforce pages.
- Develop products across all core Salesforce systems including Service & Sales Clouds and Marketing Cloud.
- Use out‑of‑the‑box external applications such as Salesforce scheduler, milestones, forecasting, Amazon Connect, and backup solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Certified Salesforce developer (at least Platform Developer I).
- Experience with the Force.com platform (Async Apex).
- Service & Sales Cloud development experience.
- SOQL/SOSL/DML operations and query optimizations.
- REST integrations with external services.
- Testing methodologies, frameworks, and integration testing.
- Experience working in an Agile team (Scrum/Kanban).
- Migration tools.
- Experience with Lightning Web Components.
- Aware of clean architecture in OOP.
- Strong passion for creating clean, maintainable, and highly testable code and components.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills
- Multiple Salesforce certifications.
- Hands‑on experience with integrations (BE APIs, Amazon Connect, etc.).
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle).
- Full‑stack Salesforce development experience.
- Good understanding of CI/CD principles and automated testing.
- Marketing Cloud experience.
- Demonstrated experience in different integration patterns.
