Support senior sales coverage for Chinese inbound multinational clients by helping deliver cross-border payments solutions and driving pipeline growth within Subsidiary Payments Sales.
As a Payments Sales Associate in Subsidiary Payments Sales, you will support the coverage of Chinese inbound multinational clients expanding internationally. You will work closely with senior sales professionals, coverage teams, and product and implementation partners to help deliver treasury services, merchant services, and trade and working capital solutions. This role builds product knowledge and client engagement skills, with a focus on supporting Mandarin-speaking clients and cross-border needs across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and other markets.
- Support the sale of payments products across treasury services, merchant services, and trade and working capital solutions.
- Assist senior team members in managing relationships with Chinese multinational clients and prospects expanding internationally.
- Partner with coverage, product, and implementation teams to support solution delivery and execution.
- Conduct industry and client research to understand client needs, including cross-border treasury considerations and local regulatory requirements.
- Maintain clear communication across China-based headquarters teams and local market teams to align on client strategy and next steps.
Experience in banking, finance, or a related field, including internships.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
- Ability to support sales activities across payments, treasury services, and corporate banking solutions.
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- Exposure to corporate banking, transaction banking, or treasury services.
- Understanding of cross-border banking needs for Chinese corporates expanding overseas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
