As a Relationship Manager on the Card Payment Networks team in the Payment Network Office, you will help build and grow a new practice dedicated to revolutionizing our payment network partnerships. You will work within a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, supporting strategic initiatives and operational excellence as we launch this new function. You'll be at the heart of a team that values innovation, agility, and cross‑functional collaboration, making a meaningful impact on Chase’s payment strategy and customer experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with key card networks, driving joint initiatives and launching new offerings that support Chase’s product and business objectives.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for network escalations, ensuring communication, timely execution, issue resolution, and alignment of strategy across JPMorganChase.
  • Support the execution and management of complex commercial agreements, SOWs, and amendments in partnership with Corporate Development & Legal.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to drive alignment, support product innovation, and ensure successful execution of network‑related initiatives.
  • Analyze and communicate regulatory changes and legal matters impacting card payment network relationships to assess and address implications for Chase.
  • Implement, track, and analyze network rules, announcements, and standards; develop actionable plans to address gaps and safeguard Chase’s interests.
  • Represent Chase at industry forums and partner events, strengthening Chase’s reputation as a leader and innovator in payments.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrate experience in payments, card networks, issuing/acquiring, or financial services in a partner or relationship management role.
  • Show working knowledge of card issuing economics, scheme rules, and key operational processes (auth, clearing, chargebacks/disputes, fraud controls, tokenization, BIN management).
  • Manage cross‑functional initiatives with high business impact.
  • Communicate effectively with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Resolve issues and escalations to closure with structured root cause analysis and follow‑ups.
  • Understand the UK/EU payments environment (e.g., FCA, PSR, SCA/3DS) and scheme compliance expectations.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Bring experience at a major card network (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Amex) or large financial institution.
