As a Finance and Business Management Project Manager - Associate in Finance within the Corporate & Investment Bank, you will manage a broad portfolio of initiatives - from multi-year programs such as strategic system replacements, new product launches, and branch buildouts, to ongoing process improvements. The team's objectives you will support are to:
- Define and translate Finance requirements by partnering with Finance subject matter experts to develop functional specifications and communicate needs to technology teams.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with the core project team, regional and corporate finance, operations, technology partners, and business clients.
- Lead delivery end-to-end across testing and implementation to ensure solutions are accurate and delivered on time for users.
Job responsibilities
- Analysis: Elicit, document, and translate Finance business requirements into functional specifications; develop/review the end-to-end operating model; define requirements for controlled reference data migration and the setup of legal entities and product system feeds into the target Finance environment.
- Testing: Partner with the Program Test Manager to create the test strategy, plans, scripts, and data; ensure requirements and operating model are fully validated; drive resolution of issues identified during testing.
- General: Coordinate project and migration activities with Business Lead and Project Manager; support training delivery; identify and manage risks; maintain up-to-date documentation in the project repository; manage and coach junior BAs.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of Finance functions, end-to-end processes, and how Finance requirements translate into technology and platform outcomes.
- Applies working knowledge of the regional Finance operating model and key process flows, including governance and stakeholder touchpoints.
- Brings practical project lifecycle experience, including planning, governance, controls, RAID management, and status reporting.
- Demonstrates proven business analysis skills: requirements gathering, documentation, operating model and process analysis, and translating needs into clear deliverables.
- Builds relationships and influences effectively across Finance, Operations, and Technology within a matrixed environment.
- Produces crisp written updates and executive-ready status reporting, and facilitates meetings effectively.
- Identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks and issues with a control-minded approach to delivery.
- Applies Finance and accounting acumen, including a controllers mindset and awareness of financial reporting impacts and controls.
- Supports test strategy, UAT coordination, defect triage, and cutover readiness.

- Holds an accounting or project management qualification.
- Demonstrates awareness of line-of-business systems, middle-office operations, and adjacent products/solutions (e.g., iDDA, Cash Management) and how they feed Finance.
- Applies data and systems literacy, including data flows, reference data, reconciliations, and basic SQL/Excel where relevant.
- Contributes to change management activities, including training support, communications, and adoption tracking.
