We are seeking an entrepreneurial and strategic Vice President to join our EMEA Asset Management Business Transformation team. In this pivotal role, you will help shape and drive the transformation agenda across the region. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in project and people leadership, with the ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and across the industry to deliver a robust pipeline of impactful initiatives. This role is based in London, a central hub of our EMEA business.
Business Transformation is a global team partnering with Asset Management business lines to deliver high-impact change programmes that shape the future of our business. Our work is driven by the priorities of the Asset Management Operating Committee and by anticipating and responding to significant industry and regulatory developments. As Vice President, you will be a key leader in the EMEA team, responsible for driving strategic transformation, leading people, and building a culture of innovation and excellence.
Job Responsibilities:- Serve as deputy to the EMEA Head of Business Transformation, providing strategic leadership and guidance as a senior team leader for London, and actively supporting the execution of transformation initiatives across the region.
- Proactively identify, originate, and drive a pipeline of transformation initiatives, leveraging internal and external networks to anticipate business needs and industry trends.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives, to ensure alignment and sponsorship for transformation priorities.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, and providing coaching and mentorship to support professional growth.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex, cross-functional programmes, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards.
- Champion the integration of AI, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance business outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Represent the EMEA Business Transformation team in governance forums, providing regular updates to senior management and ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Ensure robust project governance, including the production and review of comprehensive project documentation, risk and issue management, and post-implementation reviews.
- Oversee business communications and change management activities, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and seamless transition to business as usual.
- International travel will be required to support transformation initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
- Relevant experience in project management and asset management, with a demonstrable track record of delivering strategic change in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Proven leadership experience, including people management, team development, and acting as a senior representative for a business function or location.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to originate and drive new initiatives, build industry relationships, and create commercial value.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging and influencing at the most senior levels.
- Advanced project management and business analysis skills, including project planning, solution design, risk management, and governance.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams managing third-party vendors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with high emotional intelligence.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with project management tools and emerging technologies is advantageous.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM) and in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry are highly desirable.
