As a Liquidity and Account Solutions Business Analyst - Senior Associate within JPMorgan Chase, you will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives. Your expertise in cross-functional collaboration will enable you to work effectively with diverse teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. You will be responsible for planning and directing work, making decisions that impact departmental outcomes, and managing complex situations. Job responsibilities:
- Define a high-level scope, plans, and estimates of a project request to establish stakeholder expectations and create and/or review project requirements, development and testing.
- Work in a collaborative multi-year program and define business requirements from an operations perspective.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, working effectively with diverse teams across the organization to align efforts, share knowledge, and drive the successful implementation of business strategies.
- Assess the impact of every project on the operations processes - from requirements to deployment.
- Utilize strategic thinking to evaluate potential scenarios, assess risks, and make informed decisions that directly impact departmental outcomes.
- Participate in incident management during system issues.
- Review the business requirements submitted by Product to ascertain operations procedure and impacts due to manual and exception processes.
- Provide scenarios to UAT and QA for testing purposes, monitor user acceptance testing, and review defects raised to assess their impact on Operations.
- Assist in documenting the operations procedure and providing training to the operations teams on the new functionalities.
- Escalate issues and challenges as and when they arise and in a timely manner.
- Participate in each stage of the project delivery, from requirements to deployment and implementation.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Relevant experience in a similar environment.
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional collaboration, with experience working with diverse teams across an organization.
- Knowledge of Liquidity and Accounts products.
- Advanced strategic thinking skills, with a track record of evaluating potential scenarios, assessing risks, and making informed decisions.
- Ability to craft clear and effective written communication to guide analysis and ensure consistent outcomes.
- Ability to provide quality stakeholder engagement through timely and effective communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate internally and externally, and at all levels.
- Strong networking and interpersonal skills, with the ability to form positive working relationships in a matrix management and multicultural environment.
- Ability to lead and work independently on assigned projects.
- Understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and skills in industry-standard methodologies and related tasks.
- Competence in technology/process release management, with proficiency in using software applications, digital platforms, and other technological tools to solve problems and improve processes.
