We are seeking an Investor Relations Assistant to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 9 months maternity cover contract. For this role, we are happy to consider recent graduates who have a keen interest and some experience in the wealth and investment banking industry as training will be provided.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and organized candidate to join our small team - the dedicated Investment Trusts team - working within Corporate Broking. Our primary responsibility is managing Investor Relations for our Corporate Broking clients within the Investment Trusts universe. The candidate will have access to the specialist sales team on the Markets side with whom the team collaborates frequently for the benefit of clients.
As an Investor Relations Assistant in the Investment Banking business, you will typically be responsible for the execution of roadshows and events, as well as assists in fostering connections with both corporate broking clients and investors. You will be part of a dynamic, evolving team where you can develop key Investor Relations skills and deepen your knowledge of the Investment Trust sector. This role is a stepping stone for career progression, and we\'re excited for you to bring your dynamism and eagerness to our team, executing client roadshows and events.
Job responsibilities
- Assist in executing roadshows for corporate broking clients: results & regional roadshows, investor lunches, capital markets days, etc.
- Gather investor feedback and prepare reports following roadshows and events
- Assist in preparing roadshow schedules & support the IR team with roadshow execution tasks
- Assist in organising in-person and virtual events: determining themes, organising logistics, executing and preparing presentations and hosting clients during the event
- Build and maintain relationships with investors in London, Edinburgh and other UK regions to further develop network and fill roadshows
- Work in conjunction with the Specialist Sales team to highlight and inform corporate broking clients to new and existing investors
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Enthusiastic, energetic, attention to detail and well organised
- Organisational skills and self‑motivated approach essential; ability to prioritise workload
- Confident and pro‑active when working with Sales and Investment Banking teams
- Interest in the financial markets
- Team player and good interpersonal skills essential

- Common sense, be able to work on own initiative. Resourcefulness in problem‑solving under pressure
