As a Managing Director within the UK Cash Equity Sales-Trading team, you will be responsible for sales trading single stock equity and equity linked products.
You will bebased in London focusing on servicing global clients trading Developed European equities. The role is fast-paced and multi-faceted – the ability to manage time, lead and adhere to tight deadlines is a must.Attention to detail is crucial.
In addition to your direct team responsibilities, you will be part of a network of inquisitive, smart, and collaborative individuals. We provide extensive department-wide training and professional development to support career growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships
- Support existing sales-trading and trading infrastructure in EMEA
- Develop new client relationships
- Provide market colour and liquidity solutions to clients
- Order management for live executions
- Promote wider equity offering
- Partner with internal stakeholders to promote wider Markets franchise
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Significant relevant experience in Cash Equities.
- Deep existing client relationships.
- Collaborative approach to work with the wider Cash Equities team and Global Sales & Marketing team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of trading systems, Bloomberg, Microsoft office suite
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
