As a Lead Software Engineer in Cloud Foundational Services, you will enhance, build, and deliver secure, stable, and scalable technology products. You will lead delivery across multiple technical domains while staying hands-on with design, development, testing, and troubleshooting. You will help define and reinforce engineering standards that support firm objectives. You will contribute to a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.
Build the cloud-native foundations that help teams across JPMorganChase deliver secure, reliable technology at scale. You'll work in an agile, cloud-focused environment where your ideas shape how we design, build, test, and run critical platforms. You'll also help strengthen our engineering standards and continuously improve the developer and operational experience.
- Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot complex, large-scale cloud-native systems using creative approaches to overcome technical challenges.
- Lead by example in delivering secure, high-quality production code.
- Review and debug code written by others, and share knowledge to support and develop junior talent.
- Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices and leading-edge technologies.

Demonstrated ability to deliver system design, application development, testing, and operational stability for multi-tenant platforms. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language. Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle. Understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, infrastructure cost management, and least-privilege security principles. Experience with Java, Python, or Go.
