As a Financial Market Infrastructures Network Manager within the Network Management team, you will play an integral role in the post-trade, Payment, Clearing and Settlement (PCS) of cash and securities transactions and financial instruments worldwide. Financial Markets consist of three key segments: Central Securities Depositories (CSDs), Payment Systems, and CCPs, which are critically important to the operability, connectivity, and stability of the financial markets in which they operate. Ensuring the soundness, resilience, and strength of supervision and oversight of each Financial Market (FMI) is a key focus for regulators, banks, and institutions, helping to ensure risks are appropriately identified and managed.

Job responsibilities

  1. Contribute to FMI Network Management due diligence and oversight Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process reviews, including assessing and incorporating new criteria as the regulatory landscape evolves.
  2. Implement ongoing monitoring and governance requirements for FMI membership risks, adapting to regulatory and business changes over time.
  3. Support lines of business (LOB) strategies and priorities, including market expansion and joining new FMIs.
  4. Participate in internal governance and controls forums, providing updates to senior management across the organization.
  5. Serve as a FMI subject matter expert, providing risk and governance advice on FMI engagements to support business decisions.
  6. Collaborate with Network Management, LOB, and cross-functional partners to ensure compliance with FMI-related regulations and obligations.
  7. Develop skills to participate in special projects, such as regulatory examinations, recovery, and resolution planning.

Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  1. Background in Financial Services, Risk Management, Legal, or Regulatory fields.
  2. Experience analyzing and interpreting complex rules and regulations.
  3. Ability to communicate complex information clearly to stakeholders.
  4. Experience working with senior management and regional teams.
  5. Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.
  6. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Preferred qualifications, skills, and capabilities

  1. Banking background with knowledge of Securities and Payments FMI operators and systems.
