An \’outstanding\’ Primary School in the London Borough of Havering are looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant/ Nursery Nurse for September OR October 2025. This is a full time & permanent role. Term time only!

** £90- £120 per day (weekly pay of £450-£600)

Early Years Teaching Assistant /Nursery Nurse – Your Role:

  • Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
  • Hours: 8:30am to 3:45pm
  • Working across Nursery & Reception
  • Carrying out Phonics, Spelling, Reading & Writing Activities
  • Creating a fun and engaging environment that\’s safe
  • Assisting with general classroom duties
  • Supporting mild SEN when needed
  • Providing 1:1 and group booster sessions

Early Years Teaching Assistant /Nursery Nurse – Ideal Candidate:

  • Hold a Level 2 or 3 CACHE Qualification in Childcare/ Supporting Teaching & Learning
  • Or hold a Level 6 or degree within childcare or education
  • Have an understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Have school based experienced ideally or have experience within private nurseries
  • Have an enthusiasm about working in EYFS and with children
  • Work well as a team
  • Good communication
