What you'll do
- Support compensation activities including new hires, promotions, transfers, budgeting, forecasting and talent retention.
- Analyse compensation data, market trends and business needs to identify issues and develop practical recommendations.
- Prepare clear analysis, models and presentations to support senior decision-making and HR advisory activity.
- Advise HR partners on compensation practices, policies and regulatory requirements across EMEA.
- Contribute to firmwide compensation projects, including policy updates, process improvements and systems development.
- Drive greater efficiency and consistency across compensation processes, including improved reporting and appropriate use of AI.
What you bring
- Experience in HR, Compensation or Finance within financial services, with strong analytical and data management skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel capability; experience with Business Objects or other reporting tools is desirable.
- Understanding of compensation processes, market data, regulatory requirements or year-end compensation planning within a financial services environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and consulting skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across HR and the wider business.
- Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and present complex information clearly to senior stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, confidentiality and controls, combined with a proactive, commercially focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
