Job responsibilities
- Lead by example: Provide technical guidance and direction to engineering teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver robust solutions.

- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability in production.
- Proficiency with C++ on Unix/Linux, including performance diagnostics and tooling.
- Scripting skills to automate development, testing, and operational workflows.
- Strong understanding of software–hardware interaction for low-latency systems.
- Experience creating and automating test strategies and plans for both functional and non-functional requirements, and executing them.
- Depth in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
- Strong CS fundamentals: multithreading, memory management, object-oriented design.
- Collaborative mindset: Work closely with Application Development, Business Analysis, and Operations teams.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in low-latency design and development using C++ and C, with a strong emphasis on performance optimization and deterministic system behavior.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and supporting connectivity platform in C/C++.
- Solid working knowledge of FIX and binary protocols, as well as market microstructure.
- Experience with low-latency connectivity to FX, Commodities, Rates, Credits, Futures, and Options markets (such as LME, Eurex, CME).
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
