Help teams find, understand, and trust data by building a modern metadata marketplace. You'll shape a strategic product used across Asset Management to strengthen governance and accelerate delivery. As a Product Manager in the Marketplace product team within Asset Management Data Strategy, you will define and deliver capabilities that drive genuine business value by improving how data is catalogued, governed, discovered and consumed. You'll partner with technology and business stakeholders to build tools that manage data domains and subdomains, high quality data products and the semantics that describe them. You'll also evolve the marketplace as the metadata repository that supports lineage, data contracts, and data quality, powering AI.
Job responsibilities
- Execute the product vision and strategy for Marketplace capabilities that strengthen data governance outcomes
- Partner with technology to align architecture, delivery approach, and release plans to product priorities
- Engage stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into clear product requirements for metadata management
- Define and prioritize features for data domains/subdomains, systems of record, and business term classification
- Own the product roadmap, including outcome-focused milestones, sequencing, and dependency management
- Manage the feature backlog, including scope, prioritization, and trade-offs based on value and risk
- Coordinate delivery across cross-functional teams (data architecture, engineering, analytics, and compliance)
- Drive end-to-end delivery of roadmap items, surfacing risks and cross-team dependencies early
- Deliver capabilities that support metadata capture for lineage, data contracts, and data quality use cases
- Measure adoption and effectiveness using agreed success metrics, and adjust priorities based on insights
- Improve processes and tooling to adapt to evolving business needs and regulatory expectations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Demonstrated product management or product delivery experience on large-scale data platforms
- Working knowledge of metadata management concepts (cataloging, lineage, business glossary, quality signals)
- Ability to translate stakeholder needs into epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized roadmaps
- Experience partnering with engineering teams to deliver software products using iterative delivery methods
- Strong capability to build alignment with senior stakeholders and maintain cohesive working partnerships
- Ability to facilitate collaboration across multiple teams and manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI) enabled product or software delivery, and implications for metadata usability

- Hands‑on experience in engineering or development within data management platforms
