Overview
Support the Merchandising function to plan and deliver ‘best of Boden’ ranges in Partnerships and getting the right stock to the right place at the right time. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who combines strong analytical thinking with a genuine eagerness to learn and grow in merchandising. You’ll be curious and excited to build your understanding in a retail environment.
Location: 3/4 days in our North Acton, and 1-2 days working from home.
What You Will Do
- Ensuring our Option Planner is up to date with correct bought quantities, which matches back to any allocation sheets or launch trackers.
- Support Monday trading by refreshing pivots and ensure accuracy of data being reported.
- Understanding best sellers and key demand drivers.
- Allocating initial stock packages in line with plans and reviewing replenishment parameters, alongside Assistant Merchandiser, to potentialize demand and reduce risks.
- Offering replenishment to store based on bestsellers & fast cover lines.
- Reserving stocks in a timely manner ahead of season launch, reviewing in season to react to Trade and releasing when appropriate so Direct can sell at FP.
- Switching off lines as they approach end-of-life, Markdown or slow sellers to control terminal stock level and mitigate risks.
- Chairing weekly allocation & store meetings, flagging lateness and delivery issues and impact on launch and availability.
- Support the use of S5 Hind-sighting for Partner and Direct alignment.
- Use Thoughtspot, S5 and store specific portals to export information.
- Work cross functionally within team to ensure processes are aligned and efficient.
