Overview

We're looking for a Senior Trend Forecaster to help define what's next for Boden. Reporting to the Head of Creative Concept, you'll identify emerging fashion, lifestyle and cultural movements, turning insight into inspiring concepts, stories and creative worlds that influence collections, campaigns, content and customer experience. This is far more than a traditional trend forecasting role. You'll explore fashion, culture, travel, design, media and consumer behaviour to uncover what's next and help Boden interpret it in a way that's uniquely its own. From cultural forecasts and seasonal concepts to brand storytelling and creative inspiration, you'll shape ideas that influence the business years ahead. Working closely with the wider Creative teams, and acting as a cultural antenna and ideas generator, you'll help shape strategic narratives that keep the brand fresh, relevant and distinctive.

We're looking for someone with exceptional taste, strong cultural awareness and a talent for transforming insight into compelling creative direction. A natural storyteller and world-builder, you'll blend global trends with Boden's unique personality, creating ideas that combine British heritage, optimism, humour and creativity in ways that feel both contemporary and unmistakably Boden.

Location: 3 days in our North Acton office, 2 days working from home.

What You Will Do

  • Support the development of seasonal concepts and overarching brand narratives
  • Research cultural, artistic and fashion references to inform creative direction
  • Build mood boards, visual research decks and presentation materials
  • Translate trends and insights into clear, visually compelling outputs
  • Help apply seasonal concepts across campaigns, content and retail touchpoints
  • Ensure consistency across all brand outputs and executions
  • Conduct research into cultural, consumer and fashion trends
  • Analyse catwalks, competitors and wider cultural signals to identify emerging trends
  • Translate global trends into direction that aligns with the brand
  • Maintain organised archives of visual research and past campaigns
  • Support timelines and presentation development for stakeholders

What We Are Looking For

  • Degree-level qualification in a fashion-related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience shaping trends or creative direction within a fashion or cultural environment
  • Strong visual eye and instinct for premium brand positioning
  • Confident using Adobe Creative Suite and presentation tools
  • Deep interest in fashion, art, photography and culture
  • A natural storyteller with the ability to translate ideas into clear narratives

Our Behaviours

At Boden, how we work matters just as much as what we deliver. We keep things simple. We say what we mean, keep each other in the loop, and follow through on what we’ve said we’ll do. We care about doing a good job - and we care about each other. We’re always kind, often honest, and we will push for high standards without making it heavy. We know what we’re good at, we lean on each other when needed, and we show up as a team - taking ownership and getting things done together.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary & targeted annual bonus scheme.
  • Generous Boden clothing allowance!
  • 30% discount on all current clothing ranges.
  • 25 days Holiday annually, plus
