Overview

Ecommerce is a vital channel for reaching our customers and driving the growth of our business. We are seeking a Business Analyst with a strong interest in Ecommerce technology and front-end experiences, and how site functionality, data and platforms can be used to create intuitive, high-performing customer journeys. You will be a key point of contact for the Boden Ecommerce teams, supporting the delivery of on-site enhancements, helping teams adopt new technology and ways of working, and working through data and functional challenges to improve the customer experience.

Location: 3 days per week at our North Acton office, the rest WFH. This role is for a 12 Month Maternity Cover, candidates applying must be comfortable with this.

What You Will Do

  • Analysis & requirements management Responsible for conducting complex analysis tasks, strategy analysis, benefits realisation and using a variety of specification tools and techniques to suit the complexity and audience.
  • Understands the technology of the business well enough to shape initial problem statements into solutions that can be evolved iteratively with technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of front-end (FE) requirements and customer experience principles within e-commerce environments.
  • Champions the improvement of analysis and requirements gathering methods and processes. Drives incisive and clear analysis of complex work.
  • Works with the solution architects and delivery teams to understand system capabilities and ensure customer needs are interpreted into suitable designs, documenting as-is/to-be flows and recommending where current or new products are suitable.
  • Makes themselves understood when communicating complex issues, whether in-person, via email or through other channels. Promotes open communication of ideas and solutions when communicating with stakeholders.
  • Maintains consistent presence in the Ecommerce Team, building strong relationships with stakeholders and be seen as the go-to person for technical questions.
  • Turn high level epics into detailed stories capturing both functional and non-functional requirements with acceptance criteria. Work with developers during the delivery of these stories to clarify issues and perform further analysis to alleviate blockers.

Collaborating working and stakeholder management

  • Has skills to listen and communicate to both business and delivery teams so that the documentation produced can be actioned by delivery teams or be adopted into business process.
  • Collaborate with Delivery Managers or Project Managers on estimates of effort from delivery teams or business teams, and to escalate issues and blockers that need to be resolved.
  • Taking a holistic view of business requirements to ensure business objective and perspective is understood and shared when working toward the solution.
  • Support an environment where everyone in the business feels they are able to contribute ideas and give feedback on our products.
  • Recognise differences in opinion or approach with the ability to bring this together and create a consensus to maintain progress towards the best solution.

Third party supplier management

  • Support scoping and analysis of 3rd party services.
  • Support RFP processes with 3rd party providers.
  • Support integrations and implementations of 3rd party services.
