Overview
The Technical Admin Assistant reports to the Garment Technologist on their department and is responsible for managing the administration of their product area. This position is key to managing the critical path of each product and ensuring that each product meets our Boden quality standards.
Location: 4 days per week at our North Acton office, the rest WFH.
What You Will Do
- Ensures the critical path is updated and accurate.
- Attends critical path meetings.
- Ensure consistent supplier communication.
- Co-ordination of weekly fit meetings and e-mails fit list in preparation for our fit sessions.
- Attends fit sessions to record comments.
- Organisation of samples (including archiving).
- Set up and management of labelling and packaging BOMs.
- Issuing shipment sample comments with the supervision of the senior technologist/technologist.
- Assisting with AQL process.
- Administration of testing process (including chemical compliance).
- Managing administration of wearer trials and fabric development with supervision of seniors.
- Inputting customer facing information on website (bullet point and garment measurements).
- Answer CSA queries with the assistance of seniors if required.
- Comp shopping and benchmarking – knowing Boden competitors.
