JN Technical is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK structural steel fabricator. You will be responsible for managing complex, multi-million-pound steelwork packages from tender stage through to final account. This position offers remote working with occasional office and site visits across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage bills of quantities, cost plans, and tender submissions for structural steelwork projects.

  • Oversee cost control, contract administration, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Produce interim valuations, progress reports, and final accounts in line with project requirements.

  • Ensure full compliance with JCT and NEC contracts, as well as company policies and procedures.

  • Collaborate with clients, main contractors, and project teams to achieve commercially successful outcomes.


Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction, with a proven track record in structural steelwork.

  • Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract and commercial reporting procedures.

  • HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred; RICS membership desirable.

  • Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple high-value steelwork projects simultaneously.
