JN Technical is recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a leading UK structural steel fabricator. You will be responsible for managing complex, multi-million-pound steelwork packages from tender stage through to final account. This position offers remote working with occasional office and site visits across the UK.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage bills of quantities, cost plans, and tender submissions for structural steelwork projects.

Oversee cost control, contract administration, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.

Produce interim valuations, progress reports, and final accounts in line with project requirements.

Ensure full compliance with JCT and NEC contracts, as well as company policies and procedures.

Collaborate with clients, main contractors, and project teams to achieve commercially successful outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in construction, with a proven track record in structural steelwork.

Strong knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract and commercial reporting procedures.

HND/Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline preferred; RICS membership desirable.

Excellent commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple high-value steelwork projects simultaneously.
