Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the main purpose of the role is to service and repair a wide range of plant equipment and vehicles in accordance with Company and Manufacturers Service Schedules.
Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled Service Inspections, servicing and repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Conduct regular servicing on machinery, plant and equipment as assigned.
- Diagnose and repair complex faults in machinery, plant and equipment.
- Carry out repairs to machinery, plant and equipment, and their components.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and efficient workshop environment.
- Record information digitally, including photographs on Syrinx App.
- Carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures.
- Work independently with initiative and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- NVQ3 equivalent education or equivalent knowledge.
- CSCS card.
- Preferably experience in a similar role.
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Commitment to carry out in-house Murphy training requirements.
