A day in the life of a Murphy Senior Bid Manager:
- Compilation of PQQ Documents.
- Compilation of Tender Deliverables.
- Manage the implementation of the Murphy work‑winning processes, procedures, and toolkits.
- Development and implementation of win strategies.
- Review the scope definition within the PQQ or tender documents and produce a detailed launch pack for delivery to the PQQ/Tender teams.
- Development and implementation of bid programmes.
- Mobilisation and motivation of the allocated PQQ/tender team resources.
- Review alternative proposals or re‑engineer the client's specifications and design.
- Manage all client dialogue.
- Develop and compile presentations for both internal and external audiences.
- Manage portal uploads and all clarifications.
- Ensure all actions are completed ahead of PQQ/Tenders being submitted.
- Update and maintain CRM entries.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience of delivering successful high value (£50m+) bids across Water, Transport, Highways, Airports or Ports.
Full knowledge of the bid lifecycle from tracking of OJEU notices to PQQ, Tender and Post Tender Interviews.
Add valued input to re‑engineer the client’s specification to add to a value‑add engineered solution.
Proactive bid management experience.
Able to cast a critical eye over potential bids.
