Murphy is recruiting for a Training Coordinator to work at Golborne - WA3 3JD. The Training Coordinator will assist the People Business Partner and Learning & Development Partner (Operations) with supporting Business Units with the coordination of training bookings, competency card renewals and the end to end administration of all technical training to the standard required by the Company to ensure accurate and up to date records are held and maintained.

A day in the life of a Murphy Training Coordinator:

  • Identify the training needs for groups of employees based on published training matrices.
  • Liaise with business and contract managers to plan, book and co-ordinate training for their teams.
  • Work with suppliers to implement the process for the whole life-cycle of training administration from making reservations through to certification and evaluation.
  • Receive training certification, applying for scheme registrations and ensuring safe delivery to candidates and line managers.
  • Use and maintain training systems to record results and track compliance.
  • Arrange training events with key suppliers to produce and maintain a published calendar that will meet expected demand.
  • Ensure all training records, certificates and identity cards are recorded and updated on to the company Training Database.
  • Record all training courses eligible for grant funding and submitting application forms, plus forecasting and delivering a Training and Development plan for all staff and operatives training across the business unit(s) you support.
  • Prepare training records and certification evidence of staff competencies from the Training Database and associated reports to contract management.
  • Collect and deal with all internal/external mail including e-mail and faxes for the Training relevant to your area.
  • Book all CSCS Health & Safety tests on-line and dispatching of appointment details to managers and their staff along with revision materials.
  • Produce training data in the form of reports to line managers and other key stakeholders for audits, proposal bids etc. when required.
  • Prepare invoices for training for process and payment.
  • Ensure joining instructions, attendance registers and all other relevant course information is recording on the learning management system.
  • Ensure all certificates and course completion information is uploaded to the training database.
  • Prepare and dispatch certification for candidates and their managers.
  • Co-ordinate/check CITB remittance advice and payments statements on a weekly basis.
  • Prepare packs, course material, Trainer’s kit and equipment for internal training courses.
