A day in the life of a Murphy Stores Person:

  • Ensure excellent standard of Customer Experience.
  • Ensure all H&S policies are observed and adhered.
  • Maintain and monitor sufficient stock levels.
  • Ensure goods are stored correctly to minimise possibility of damage or deterioration.
  • Assist with the development of stores procedures and practices to cover all aspects of material storage and distribution.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained on the company inventory control system (Dynamics AX).
  • Participate in regular stock counts and reconciliation against stock inventory on Dynamics AX.
  • Ensure all deliveries are checked and signed on receipt and are free of damages.
  • Maintain register of COSHH datasheets for all hazardous materials.
